Description Original Language (Italian)

The restyling and furnishing project for this modern villa under construction, wanted to combine contemporaneity and tradition, an important theme in our projects.
From the architecture of the Costa Smeralda we have recovered the warm and soft colors, the sensation of an enveloping, almost natural space, declined in a modern and linear key.

The main room, the living area, was characterized by a narrow corridor which, with two sloping walls, abruptly overlooked the room. To harmonize the relationship between the rooms and the changes in height, we have chosen to connect the lines of the walls and ceiling with a striped granite cladding, which recalls the works of Sciola and embellishes the entrance.

The striped decoration is recalled in other furnishing elements, such as in the bedroom and bathroom, in the oak panels that cover the headboard of the bed and the washbasin cabinet.
Granite recurs in the pool lining, in the furnishings and in the kitchen countertop.
In the ceiling, the bright light gray tone of the granite is repeated within the central backgrounds.

The reference to tradition is also present in the textile decoration elements used throughout the house. In the living room, the neutral and golden yellow tones of the carpets by Mariantonia Urru recall tradition in a contemporary way and in the same way the Cabulè panel, designed by the studio, embellishes the bedroom and improves its acoustics.

Finally, a simple, total white look was chosen for the kitchen, suitable for a functional and bright environment.
The furnishings are all in wood, granite and textile materials; real, almost rustic, but at the same time refined.
