The project consists in the transformation of a commercial space into an analysis laboratory.

The design challenge was to exploit the constraints deriving from the potential of the existing space, but above all to make an aseptic environment welcoming.

There are three areas that define the project: the waiting room, the reception and the clinics.

The rooms are separated by glass partitions to maximize the natural brightness of the rooms, in fact, the two large windows that overlook the public road are the only source of natural light in the environment.

To ensure privacy between the various rooms, the windows are decorated with a specially designed gradient film.

The fulcrum of the project is the waiting room: conceived as a welcoming, elegant living room, not as an aseptic and hospital space. The choice of custom-made furnishings and furniture is characterized by furnishing accessories ideal for informal environments that aim to give a warm and modern look, with a slightly liberty appeal.

In addition to the furnishings and natural light, another aspect of human centered design was taken into consideration, namely the presence of natural elements such as vegetation and landscapes.

Since the windows overlook a busy urban street, the only solution to make the environment welcoming and relaxing was to bring nature into the space.

For this reason, the wallpaper, albeit delicate and elegant, recalls a vegetal pattern in shades of white and black, while a real flower bed has been inserted in the bespoke sofa positioned in the center of the waiting room, mirrored on the ceiling by a stabilized moss insert.

Il progetto consiste nella trasformazione di un locale commerciale in un laboratorio di analisi.

La sfida progettuale è stata quella di sfruttare i vincoli derivanti dalle potenzialità dello spazio esistente, ma soprattutto quella di rendere accogliente un ambiente asettico.

Tre sono le aree che definiscono il progetto: la sala d'attesa, la reception e gli ambulatori.

Gli ambienti sono separati da partizioni vetrate per massimizzare la luminosità naturale degli ambienti, infatti, le due grandi vetrate che sia affacciano sulla strada pubblica sono l’unica fonte di luce naturale dell’ambiente.

Per garantire la privacy tra i vari ambienti le vetrate sono decorate con una pellicola sfumata, disegnata appositamente.

Il fulcro del progetto è la sala d'attesa: pensata come un salotto accogliente, elegante, non come spazio asettico e ospedaliero. La scelta degli arredi e dei mobili su misura è caratterizzata da complementi d'arredo ideali per ambienti informali che puntano a conferire un aspetto caldo e moderno, dal richiamo leggermente liberty.

Oltre agli arredi e alla luce naturale si è scelto di tenere in considerazione un altro aspetto dell’Human centered design, ovvero la presenza di elementi naturali come vegetazione e paesaggi.

Dato che le finestre si affacciano su una strada urbana molto trafficata, l’unica soluzione per rendere accogliente e rilassante l’ambiente era quello di portare la natura all’interno dello spazio.

Per questo la carta da parati, seppur delicata ed elegante, richiama un pattern vegetale nei toni del bianco e del nero, mentre nel divano su misura posizionato al centro della sala d’attesa è stata inserita una vera e propria aiuola, rispecchiata a soffitto da un inserto in muschio stabilizzato.
