Description Original Language (Italian)
The project involves the complete renovation of a building near the port of Stintino, in Sardinia. The exceptional location, close to one of the most beautiful seas on the island, involves important landscape constraints that have shaped and shaped the design choices.
In fact, the proximity of the sea and the presence of traditional Stintino building typologies have influenced the project, leading to a simple form characterized by natural materials, in a constant search for the perfect combination of tradition and innovation.
The internal distribution has been redefined according to the client's needs and the need to contain the internal connecting staircase by limiting the connection spaces.
The house is projected towards the external spaces, thanks to large windows that overlook the veranda spaces. The use of design devices allows you to create a continuous environment between inside and outside.
Inside, the house is inspired by the naval world and is distributed according to functional nuclei that guarantee the perimeter passages and a continuous flow of external natural light.
The simplicity of the plan contains a detailed study of flows and paths and allows maximum flexibility and increases spatial perception.
