Description Original Language (Japanese)

A stately head office building that blends into a residential area

It is a company building built on a long and narrow site facing the front road of 4 m, surrounded by houses. The building is set back and a front yard composed of stones, ground cover and middle trees is set up between the road and the road. No windows were installed on the road side, the height was kept to the same level as a house, and the horizontally long outer wall, which tends to be monotonous, was segmented by two courtyards. The exterior uses an aluminum panel with a textured surface to create a soft look. The courtyard is also covered with the same metal grid as the outer wall, giving a glimpse of the plants planted in the courtyard. Although it is a simple and sharp building in a residential area, I think we were able to create a landscape where you can feel the harmony and consideration of the surrounding area without any major discomfort.
