Description

Mangrove Place is a tower residential complex built on Reem Island, new development of the City of Abu Dhabi.

The step terraced development of the tower made it possible to create a one-of-a-kind shape in Abu Dhabi. The stepped shape made it possible to break the monotony of the closed glass skyscraper area of Al Reem Island and at the same time to have apartments with panoramic terraces overlooking the sea.

The trend of the superimposed terraces also allows canceling the sense of vertigo that occurs on towers of such height and gives the apartments of the headroom an excellent livability, unique for the city of Abu Dhabi.

The building, mainly intended for the western expats market, is spread over 29 floors above ground, 2 of which are on the podium, with 3 levels of underground parking spaces that can hold up to 600 parking spaces, for a total area of about 80,000 square meters.

It consists of 481 apartments of various sizes:
- a 600 sqm penthouse on the 28th and 29th floors
- 3 penthouses on two levels (350 sqm each) on the 26th and 27th floors
- 15 duplex town houses (250 m2 each) located on the podium, developed on two levels
- the remaining apartments vary in size from 80 to 150 square meters.

UPA, after having developed the schematic design project to be awarded as an integrated contract to the builder, was subsequently recalled during construction to redefine the detail design, in particular of the facade, heavily modified and ruined during construction by the builder and to develop the interior design of the common parts and for the management of the works.
