KOA is a boutique store that boasts an a-typical approach to buying, styling, and presenting clothes. Designed to resemble a real life scenario there are lamps, sofas, and coffee tables so shoppers can try clothes in a setting where they will likely wear them the most.

KOA has its first and primary location in Miami, FL, and in opening their first store outside the U.S the owners wanted to stay true to their urban and tropical sensations. Their mix of boho-chic textures with vintage furnitures and a lot of natural sunlight wants to take you on a trip to their Miami style.

The interior design takes cues from living in a culturally diverse city like Miami with its distinct mix of Cuban and Californian style. The aim for this concept was first and foremost to understand what a retail store main purpose is, especially in big cities like Miami, and what’s important in making a great retail layout in order to design a very successful one.
