MAISON SARAH LAVOINE

This workshop was renovated in 2017 by Studio Maison Sarah Lavoine.
A unique place to live, like a hut perched on the rooftops of Paris, with a large living room opening onto a glass roof and the sacred heart in the line of sight. Originally an artist's studio from the 1930s, it was originally an office, rehabilitated into a living space, entirely bathed in light.
The architecture studio imagined two spaces, the glass lounge with an adjoining balcony running the length of the room. And a kitchen-dining room, cut by a very long horizontal loophole in the upper part, which receives the natural and plunging light of the glass roof.
The materials of character and the contemporary style of the sofas, furniture and objects signed Maison Sarah Lavoine combine audacity and elegance.
The strength of the House's identity colours dress the furnishing fabrics and singularly mark this warm and soft place.
A very strong and particularly daring signature for the fir green of the kitchen, from the marble of the worktop, to the fronts of the elements enhanced by brass edges.
In the centre of this very pleasant room, a large rosewood table surrounded by Gio Ponti's superleggera chairs (reissued) reinforces the elegant conviviality.
A magical and luminous place, with lots of character, a house in the sky.
