ENSEMBLE MEREVILLERealized

The project consists of the construction for two ground floor commercial spaces and three first floor, social living spaces. The building is situated in the center of a small town in the French countryside.
The project began by analysing the surrounding rural context , the geometric forms drawn by the facade and the existing materials... This formal vocabulary gave us a constructive lexicon to design the building.
This village was historically identified as a pink village. House facade coatings were made from broken bricks mixed with plaster.
The building is built in prefabricated concrete panels tinted pink.
