The design of the house arises from consciously understanding its environment and materializing the immaterial, a path, a journey whose purpose is to look towards Lake Los Molinos. Thus, what defines the entire construction is an action, walking and contemplating.

The concept from which we were inspired is that of a coastal village, with its winding streets that aim to reach the water element, crossing and connecting all the areas that make up daily urban life.

Thus, analogously to the functioning of a village, the social area is arranged in direct friction with this journey towards the lake, which is signified by these activities at the same time that it structures and connects them. The different elements of the program operate as singular milestones that accompany this journey. With the same principle, the most private areas are arranged in the upper volume, with 5 bedrooms and 2 viewing terraces.
The reading of the whole is understood as a composition of volumes attached to the shape of a coastal town, being the place of a microcosm of relationships between its inhabitants and their environment.

The chosen materiality seeks to convey a strong presence on the ground, opting for a heavy base covered with stones to generate a greater relationship with the land in which it is inserted. A noble material that stands the test of time. On the upper level, the incorporation of a different range of materials is allowed, avoiding homogeneity and seeking that the reading is that of different elements attached and in harmony.

El planteo de la casa surge de entender conscientemente su entorno y materializar lo in materializable, un camino, un recorrido cuyo fin sea el mirar hacia al lago Los Molinos. Es así que lo que define a la construcción toda es una acción, recorrer y contemplar.

El concepto del que nos inspiramos es el de aldea costera, con sus callecitas de recorrido sinuoso que tienen como fin el llegar al elemento agua, atravesando y conectando todos los ámbitos que componen la vida cotidiana urbana.

Es así que analógicamente al funcionamiento de una aldea, se dispone el área social en fricción directa con este recorrido hacia el lago, el cual es significado por estas actividades al mismo tiempo que las estructura y conecta. Los diferentes elementos del programa operan como hitos singulares que acompañan este recorrido. Con el mismo principio las áreas más privadas se disponen en el volumen superior, con 5 dormitorios y 2 terrazas miradores.
La lectura del conjunto se entiende como una composición de volúmenes adosados a forma de pueblo costero, siendo lugar de un microcosmos de relaciones entre sus habitantes y su entorno.

La materialidad elegida busca trasmitir una fuerte presencia sobre el terreno, optando por un basamento pesado revestido con piedras para generar una mayor relación con la tierra en que se inserta. Un material noble, que soporta el paso del tiempo. Sobre el nivel superior se permite la incorporación de una gama distinta de materiales, evitando la homogeneidad y buscando que la lectura sea la de elementos diferentes adosados y en armonía.
