Description Original Language (Spanish)

The remodeling of the house of Alvaro, Luz and their three children. A 120m2 house located in a closed complex of semi-detached houses in the town of Teusaquillo, which had been inhabited by the family for 13 years and remodeled in a zoned manner, multiple times.

In this project, the main objective was to improve the social area to bring the family closer together. Reason why the decision was made to unify the social area throughout the first level. Social area composed of; kitchen, dining room, living room and library/TV room. Allowing that, regardless of the area that was being used, it was in direct contact with the other areas.

The materiality of the project is simple. Brick, wood and cement were used throughout the property and together with the lighting, warm and very welcoming environments were created.
