We conceptualized a jewelry boutique where serenity swiftly replaces the bride’s wedding anxiety by calmness and happiness and she experiences a composition of non-static frames embracing her warmly. This bride-centric concept was manifested through humble colors, shapes, patterns and materials. We chose muted color palette for walls to create tenderness and warmth, while round-arched openings, rounded corners of false ceiling, round-edged mirrors, lush carpet floor and upholstery added softness to the space.
The project also highlights our deeply rooted respect for Rajasthani traditions and craftsmanship, translated through elements like nine illustrious gold-leafing artworks (a highly labor intensive gilding technique) and a vital Shreenath Ji Pichwai artwork, created by a team of skilled artisans and craftsmen of Jaipur.
Materials such as wood and granite were sourced locally, entire furniture was designed in-house and Bamboo silk carpets in mint green palette were handcrafted by local weavers of Jaipur. Mirrors were strategically placed to double the space and views of gilded artworks. Besides, Sabyasachi Nilaya Hazarbuti wall coverings were another intriguing attraction, used in a variety of colors throughout the space.
