Description

'Sarvatobhadra' (auspiciousness in entirety) is an epitome of traditional beliefs and empathy, endured by a cultured family of Rajasthan. Our client, a man of principles, knowledge and heart of gold is a renowned industrialist who after serving many years in work is soon getting retired and handing over his throne to his elder son. For us, the villa, is but a metaphor of his tale, that holds an unconditional grace, all distinguished from outside, but grounded from inside; a beautiful composition of emotions, strengthened relationships, humbleness, and earnestness for traditions.
The residence is situated in a small town, which persists in hot and dry climatic conditions. Extreme high temperature in summers as well as close proximity with the main highway brought about the necessity to dominate natural elements and intelligent details in the design of the villa that could cool down the heat in and out and create a buffer from the outside noise and pollution.
East facing Villa evinces a blissful essence of palace that shines with the dawn and shows its true colors. Long and robust pillars create the needful buffer space for the residence; a thin aluminium screen between them acts as a graceful veil or blind for the rooms on the first floor. Beneath the screen, gleams the intricate plaster relief work and dashes of nature’s instances. When the sunshine filters through the decorative screen, and thereafter the tall palm trees, it gets diffused and passed into the rooms through the wide windows.
As we enter via the wooden gate, we are welcomed by a soothing sound of water bodies, lush planters and planter bays together pleasing our senses by cooling down the air and creating a buffer from
the outside cacophony. There is a flooring of pink granite that paves way to two entrance doors, falling on adjacent paths, one leading to the drawing room, while the other to the living space. Opposite to the living space entrance, one discovers a big carved arch wall that features a welcoming painting Pushpavalli.
