Description Original Language (Italian)
The project seeks to meet the needs of a young couple in a newly built medium-sized apartment.
The focus of the project is the living area, designed to accommodate both the kitchen and the living room and imagined as a space in continuity with the external balconies and which, while hosting various functions, conveys an idea of brightness and breadth.
The arrangement of the furniture and functional blocks is arranged perpendicular to the entrance to the house and allows the creation of parallel flows and continuous visual axes.
To increase the feeling of continuous environments, a limited color palette was used with a few gray and black hints, which match the wood of the floor and stand out against the white of the walls.
Blacks are used only for areas with greater technological impact and use such as kitchen worktops and the TV area, while gray is present in textiles.
Cushions and carpets refer to the Sardinian textile tradition, and maintain the white / black / gray combination.
In the bathrooms a particular separation filter has been created: the mirror becomes frosted glass without interruption, bringing light into the blind bathroom and avoiding joints.
