Description

BMCAR challenged ATELIER CENTRAL to design the new BMW showroom for their Dealership in Avenida dos Aliados in Porto.
The Project is inspired on a new market concept of positioning for the BMW Brand.
More than exhibiting and selling cars, the intention is to promote social gatherings, cultivate dreams and generate unforgettable moments.
The entire commercial relationship is rethought and redesigned, in a process that essentially aims to stimulate knowledge, complicity, forgetting the classic approaches towards customers.
More than selling a car, it is intended to welcome and make known the BMCAR and BMW universe.
The Concept of "THE HOUSE" that welcomes the BMW world has been carefully thought out and designed by ATELIER CENTRAL.
A place with a coherent design based on a unique gesture, which not only intends to highlight the vehicles but also to the experiences within.
A space with walls, ceiling and floor that follow the same materiality - cream microcement, marked by a rhythm of solid planes and profiles that define recesses which receive exhibitors' shelves.
Punctuating the exhibiting area, four Louis Poulsen | Artichoke Copper lamps stand out as references highlighting the vehicles displayed while the Louis Poulsen | AJ Floor Yellow Ochre floor lamps bring out a warm home mood to the lounge area.
Creating a comfortable environment, several Papa Bear chairs, designed by Hans Wegner, invite us to sit, contemplate the cars, and feel at home.
