INFRASTRUCTURAL MILESTONE

The City of Innovation is located in a peri-urban micro-landscape converted into a business park. This technological park is characterized by seeking to implant the buildings in an isolated manner, within a green environment, seeking an internal landscape that is closely related to the surrounding one.

Surrounded by road connections, the project responds to this situation as a great infrastructural milestone, like a large transparent reservoir. A large cylinder of glass is formed, almost 50m in diameter with a hard, emphatic and clear geometry. An autonomous geometry that floats on a green hillside.


MINIMIZE ENERGY CONSUMPTION. MINIMUM ENVELOPE, MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY

A project is proposed that associates in its design genesis the reduction of the energy consumption of the building and the typology of the office. The circular shape of the plan, apart from the internal functional advantages, helps to optimize the form factor of the building.

This cylindrical geometry reduces the façade area by 35% compared to a rectangular office building with similar functional characteristics.

HITO INFRAESTRUCTURAL

La Ciudad de la Innovación se sitúa en un micro-paisaje periurbano convertido en un parque de empresas. Este parque tecnológico se caracteriza por buscar una implantación de los edificios de manera aislada, dentro de un entorno verde, buscando un paisaje interno muy relacionado con el circundante.

Rodeado de conexiones viarias, el proyecto responde a esta situación como un gran hito infraestructural, a modo de gran depósito transparente. Se conforma un gran cilindro de vidrio, de casi 50m de diámetro de geometría dura, rotunda y clara. Una geometría autónoma que flota sobre una ladera verde.


MINIMIZAR EL CONSUMO ENERGÉTICO. MÍNIMA ENVOLVENTE, MÁXIMA EFICIENCIA

Se plantea un proyecto que asocia en su génesis proyectual la reducción del consumo energético del edificio y la tipología de la oficina. La forma circular de la planta, a parte de las ventajas funcionales internas, ayuda a optimizar el factor de forma del edificio.

Esta geometría cilindrica reduce en un 35% la superficie de fachada respecto a un edificio de oficinas de planta rectangular de similares características funcionales.
