Description

Live and let live is Liberland's motto.
The essence of freedom is described in four simple words.
As we approach the task of imagining a new habitat, a question arises: Is freedom a concept that applies only to the human species? What about other living beings?
We believe that Freedom should not be limited to humanity, but should apply to the entire living realm in an effort to pursue a larger and happier balance in this extraordinary symbiosis in which we live.
In our rush through life we tend to ignore other species that share the same earth we call home. Isn't the earth theirs too?
We need to rethink our way of inhabiting the planet.
Liberland could be the first "Park Nation" in which humanity's infrastructure is suspended above the ground to obtain a much larger, almost total availability of land.
This does not mean a ban on private property. Instead, what we're proposing is just a shift to a higher artificial terrain, real estate between blue and green.
The City of the National Park, whose model is the typical Italian hilltop village of the Middle Ages, will be built on suspended blocks which can be built, owned, sold and possibly replaced and dismantled at the end of their life cycle in exactly the same way as traditional urban blocks.
