Good signage plays an important role in effective communication in a variety of environments. Whether in public buildings, shopping centres or other locations, clear and well-designed signage allows people to easily find their way around and quickly grasp information.

Imagine you're in the mood for a pizza. Half an hour after ordering, you get a call from the delivery service: the delivery man can't find your place. You have to explain in detail on the phone which routes have to be covered so that the pizza finally arrives at your place. Unfortunately, the cheese is cold and the dough totally soggy - with a proper guidance system this would not have happened!

The guidance system for the "Luruper Höfe" quarter in Hamburg is a good example of this. With its orientation system, the team of the design office Studio Gourdin shows ways to the shopping arcade and connections to public transport that are not immediately obvious due to the slight slope.
Urban and yet green: the Luruper Höfe stand for connection. Situated between two main roads, the residential quarter nevertheless conveys a feel-good atmosphere, a high quality of life and invites you to stroll around, also through its signage.
