In Grenoble, the relationship to the large landscape is essential, the flatness of the valley contrasts with a mountainous background, the relationships of scale are in high relief.
The topography invites itself. It is from geography and the great landscape that we sculpt the shape of the building. It is from a terrain model made of pronounced slopes and counter-slopes that we
let's organize a specific ground report. The result is an urban topography, a rock shape, a section of cliff, a dense, compact and dull levitating volume, touching the territory, a cantilevered mass carried by its thinnest extremity and held by its part. the most tenuous.

The roof facade is envisaged as the deployment of a landscape, an inclined plane which leads to a belvedere open to the large landscape. A path passes from floor to floor from the city floor to the top of the building, offering a route that connects all of the plateaus via a bucolic route. So I can access or leave my office by a path, a wide open staircase or a bank of elevators. Here everything is done to encourage gentle movement and allow fluid connection between the different levels. The platforms are connected by terraces, unenclosed staircases or even elevators. It’s about de-stratifying, encouraging exchanges and meetings, encouraging walking.

The tertiary part of the structure is levitating at a height of approximately 3 meters. A volume sways, redefining a paneling and marking the main entrance of the building with a vast canopy.

La topographie s’invite. C’est à partir de la géographie et du grand paysage que nous sculptons la forme du bâti. C’est à partir d’un modelé de terrain fait de pentes et contre-pentes affirmées que nous
organisons un rapport au sol spécifique. Il en résulte une topographie urbaine, une forme de roche, un pan de falaise, un volume dense, compact et sourd en lévitation, effleurant le territoire, masse en porte-à-faux portée par son extrémité la plus fine et tenue par sa partie la plus ténue.

La façade-toiture est envisagée comme le déploiement d’un paysage, un plan incliné qui mène à un belvédère ouvert sur le grand paysage. Une sente passe d’étage en étage du sol de la ville au sommet du bâtiment en proposant un parcours qui relie l’ensemble des plateaux par un itinéraire bucolique. Ainsi je peux accéder ou quitter mon bureau par un chemin, un large escalier à ciel ouvert ou une batterie d’ascenseurs. Ici tout est fait pour favoriser les déplacements doux et permettre une mise en relation fluide des différents niveaux. Les plateaux sont reliés par des terrasses, des escaliers non-encloisonnés ou encore des ascenseurs. Il s’agit de dé-stratifier, favoriser les échanges et les rencontres, favoriser la marche.

La partie tertiaire de l’ouvrage est en lévitation à 3 mètres de hauteur environ. Un volume se déhanche venant redéfinir un épannelage et marquer l’entre principale du bâtiment par un vaste auvent.
